Traditional Yerba Mate

Roji’s Traditional Yerba Mate Session!
Sat, Jan 24th (Tentative date) at 2:00pm (approx. 45min)

Yerba Mate (pronounced "yerba mahtay") is a medicinal and cultural drink of ancient origins. Introduced to the world by the Guarani Indians of South America, Mate contains ingredients that help keep its drinkers healthy and energetic.
More than a drink, Yerba Mate has become a cultural phenomenon throughout South America. Its benefits are obvious. In Buenos Aires, where people carry their Mate with them throughout the day, the site of an obese person is rare.

Feel free to come in and join us.  Jonathan has been to South
America and learnt the traditional way of drinking. He will be
showing us how to brew and drink from traditional gourds
and special straws.

Taste the real deal that you don’t get from most tea bags and ready made drinks out there. You will be enjoying the whole process of preparation and the drink.

Come in for a nice buzz (it does contain caffeine) and relaxation. Please allow us to offer you a simple pleasure.
