When you enter roji, our friendly wait staff will seat you and bring out menus to your table. (Call us if we are baking in the back ; ) ) We also accept take out orders at the counter. Feel free to ask us if you have any questions on the menu or like to get any recommendations. Unlike fast-paced cafes, we will take your order from your table and bring your teas and desserts like restaurants. All you have to do is sit back and relax. We will guide you through how to use certain tea wares, steeping time for some teas if you allow us to do so. If you prefer mug cups, let us know.

Most likely, we will serve teas first before desserts as you'd like to have a clear taste palate before tasting teas. Most asian teas are drunk straight up (no milk, no sugar). However, if you feel you need sugar, honey or milk to personalize your drink after tasting, we are happy to bring them to your table.

If you like to add more order or if there is anything else, feel free to call us as we won't be interupting you after serving. ( we serve in European and Japanese Cafe style) We'll do our best to accommodate your request. Also, feel free to let us know if you have take out orders before you leave or loose leaf order to take with you.

While you are at roji, you'll be hearing Electronica, Trip-hop, indie, emo, folk, jazz, and anything else that sets the mood.

When you are ready to leave roji, either you can ask us for the check or you can come to the counter to settle your bill. (Reminder: $5 minimum for credit card charge please. It is possible to use your card if the total amount exceed $5 including tips)
