Movies, Events, and More!!!

Hello Everyone, 
Thanks for your patience while we were closed for two 
weeks. I know we had some last minute changes and I 
apologize for that. We’ll be sure to give advance notice 
next year.  
We have a bunch of events going on this week and next week 
in conjunction with the Syracuse Film Festival. Here is 
what’s coming up. 
 
Japanese Tea Ceremony - Thursday April 24th @ Everson 
Museum – starts at 630pm. Free admission. For more

The Syracuse Film Festival -Saturday April 26th @ Everson 
Museum – starts at 7pm. $8. -will be screening its Heritage 
Series. There will be three features including “Women of 
Tokyo” by Yasujiro Ozu. These are silent films with live 
music accompaniment by the Society for New Music. Roji will 
have a concession stand providing tea and snacks.

First Annual Cultural Crawl –Friday April 25th and Saturday 
April 26th. 3pm-1am. -Roji will be a designated stop for 
this event. Information can be found here.

People who have purchased passports can use them at Roji 
for a free sample. Offer good for the 2 days. 
 
Featured Artist Paige Goedkoop. -Thursday May 1st @ Roji 
Tea Lounge, Reception from 6pm-9pm. Admission is free. -She 
is an SU Graduate and will be showcasing her work.  
 
Syracuse Film Festival -Friday May 2nd, Saturday May 3rd 
and Sunday May 4th @ Delevan Art Center. -Roji will have a 
concession stand for the screenings at the Delevan. So 
enjoy the movies with some bubble tea and cookies.MMM Yeah

Oh yeah, and we will be at the Taste of Syracuse Friday 
June 6th and Saturday June 7th. The main stage bands will 
be Radiohead and Bjork. If they don’t show up it will be 
the Marshall Tucker Band and Molly Hatchett. (let’s keep 
our fingers crossed) The shop will be closed those 2 days 
as well. Just a heads up.  
 
O.K. there is a lot to digest here and I’m glad I wrote all 
this down so I know what’s going on too. Hope to see you at
